ebay has changed the way we shop...??

Its history that to buy something you have to actually go to some place and scan the products personally...Ebay has changed everything...like there is no reason to go out side when u can just relax at home and scan for the products which u are looking for....

Actually, I'm not sure that I agree. Ebay doesn't seem to be much of a bargain anymore, and really you can't credit ebay with stay at home shopping.
Going back over a hundred years, catalog shopping was immensely popular and maintened it's popularity until the late 1990's when the internet in general and the world wide web in particular really took off.
Places like amazon, fueled the online shopping craze long before ebay came around.

You know 3 weeks ago I would have agreed with you. But now I don't think so. I'll tell you why. I ordered a new cell phone off of a POWER SELLER just to recieve a phone with bootleg software that did not work! and the seller refuses to do anything about it. I lost $150. I am a cashier at a convinience store and I only make $6.00 an hour. I cannot afford to lose that kind of money. Will not be going back to EBAY again. And as far as selling on EBAY I hear they call it feebay. You don't make any money. EBAY does.

I think things will get even better at Ebay. The economy will force stores to discount their items and that will trickle down to Ebay. The prices will come down there also.
With a very unstable economy in the US, I think we are about to see a shift in the way this country shops. I think there will be alot of online shopping and Ebay will be right in the thick of it all. But watch the other companies counter with perks like free shipping. They already have cash back incentives...even Ebay and it really does work!
I love being able to turn on the computer after my boys have gone to bed and shop for supplies for my online jewelry store on Ebay. I only buy when I believe I'm getting a bargain and then I earn a little bit of cash back too! Love Ebay as a buyer!!!

I love Ebay, buying and selling. It is getting harder to sell on ebay though. Its getting harder to sell on ebay and make money. Its also getting harder to find good bargains. they are still out there though. You can buy anything on Ebay, its mostly a safe place to buy and sell too.
