if something happened to your computer, and your computer had some files that are soooo important that it's a matter of life and death if you lose those files... if your computer had a super notorious virus that even any kind of anti-virus can't stop it, what would you do?

if the files are lost let it be or if a super antivrus got into my machine no problem.i just need to format the pc and then use recover software to recover my lost files.if it does't come.no problem.

If there was no way possible to get my information back...... I really don't know what I would do. I would take my computer to the computer shop and give them the hard drive to tap into it to get my files. Unless your talking about naughty files then oh well there gone ;)

Nobody with even a modicum of sense would consider storing critical and important files on the hard drive. All my important data is stored on external media and a complete system crash would not affect them.
If you wish to have rapid access to files and feel that you need them on the computer, then at least use Briefcase and update them regular.

You would need to use some type of recovery software to salvage the data that's left on the hard drive. Often, data doesn't get erased, only the reference to it that the operating system uses. Then, I'd reformat the drive. That stops any virus from propagating.
