Art and Tattoo

Hello everyone I'm an artist who likes to work in any medium. I want people to discuss about the art of TATTOO.
There are many people who likes tattoo so many of them are religious and with some meanings, some belong to the tradition and some are really beautiful and attractive. Some think that Tattoos are not good. It's just painful and expensive.
What do you think about this topic. Do you think its is worth getting a tattoo and keep the art alive or it is just a obsession of the mind which is meaningless?

i dont like tattoo. i think it just make my skin dirty. i dont want to offend others having tatto. but what i want in skin is clean. and besides tattoo i think have effect in our blood. im not sure, but we cant donate blood, when you have tatto.
