have your best friend ever let your down

Today I feel very upset,because I feel I was abandonded by my best friend.we have been best friends from the beginning of college.
We should be a team just as we were in the last class,but she become partner with another person,a person who now is her intimate freind .
I was left to be alone, standing silly in the classroom,looking for if someone has not yet found a partner.
This is friendship,All good things must come to an end.We can't always be as we were.
Upset as I am now,but still I 'll regard her as my best friend forever.

dear dont be hurt, there are 2 ways of lookin at it. either the friend is not worth your loyalty and friendship or she will realise one day and come back to you. sometimes people feel good when they get a change in life, once again they realise what they have lost. so dont worry and you be loyal with your friend.

i have a friend, yes, she is my bestfriend, but at one time i felt i was betrayed by her. she had a boyfriend and we have kinda lost our way when she becamse all too busy with her BF. i cannot blame her for being in love and wants to spend time with her...
maybe i am too shallow for feeling that.. but i was having a hard time with my life that time and all i could turn to was her.. but then she was not there cause of her BF...
i guess sometimes we can't rely too much on other people. hehe

I dont think that you are too shallow.I also have such experience.It seems that friendship will never win love.Especially for girls.
just as what you said ,we can't rely too much on other people,but sometimes,it is so hard to be alone.I always find that I want to find someone to talk with

I am sorry that your friend has done this to you and I know how much it hurts as I have been there many times in the past myself. This is probably one of the many reasons that I do not really have any close friends! My son has also recently had this happen to him too and he gets upset but as I said to him that is how people are, they always think that the grass is greener and that maybe their new friend seems more exciting and more fun, but ultimately they will realise one day that they lost their true friend the day they moved on to someone else.
