what is an rpg, I have no idea about this new technology. If I didn't have my son explain these things to me I would be totally lost.

RPG is short for Role Playing Game...which as the name replies, you assume the role of a character in the game and usually you need to complete quests in that game. And depending on the game, you are either assigned a character (though you can change the name), or you create a character based on your preference.

Don't know many browser games or anything. You could try tribal wars, www.tribalwars.net, it's a browser based game that takes some strategy. For nonbrowser games my favorite are Maplestory and Guild Wars. Guild Wars you have to buy but has no monthly fee.

I personally recommend the forum at www.onrpg.com. I find all the latest news about online rpgs. I'm playing Flyff currently, flyff.gpotato.com. There are hundreds of online rpg out there, it's picking one to play that's the hard part.

I hate to have to ask this, but what is rpg? I may be able to help if I knew what it was exactly. I have never heard of that term before. I will wait to hear your reply. I miss seeing you around Mylot. Sorry it took me so long to reply to you. I am trying to get caught up on my discussions. I have several to go through.

You can check this website - www.mmorpg.com
I have tried Ragnarok Online before and it was great at that time...Never tried Ragnarok 2 though...
Guild Wars is not new, but I heard good reviews about it....
I think there are too many to be named....so you probably have to check them out and see

I've been playing on PrisonStruggle.com, which is in a prison it's about mugging and attacking other prisoners so I don't know if you would like that for your son, but I think kids like it, I started playing and didn't notice most of the players were kids until recently so I've stopped being active there, but it is free unless you buy upgrades but this is not necessary and they aren't expensive. But like someone told you mmorpg has a lot of games you can look into.

lol! runescape!
play
www.ikariam.org
or
www.piratequest.net
or if you seek something better than runescape
www.knightonlineworld.com
this is online needs a download but is free to play and you don't need a good computer!
nice world (almost always full though) but if you pay for a member account you can always enter the world. (it's like world of warcraft!)
