How to upload my ohoto on mylot

I have been on mylot for more than a month,when i post a question i find a green icon(in which a toon character stands)as my representation.Whereas i found questions of many others with their representation icon(Possibly their face).I tried my best to add mine but not yet succeded.Can you explain in detail how to do the same.

go to edit preferences. then in the photo section, which has none for you, just browse the picture you want to paste here as your avatar. hope this helps.

hi sundarsweb heres the steps first go to edit my preferences then change my avatar, browse on your computer, then upload, finally save the changes thats all have a great day!!

Thanks pal for yours reply and i have changed my Picture now.
