outsourcing boon or a woe!!!

companies are out for profit, they outsource where ever they find they can make a dollar. It makes it hard for the people in which the companies operate because they are not getting work, but and only if they do pass the saving onto the consumer then it is not so bad, it certainly helps the people in India or anywhere else to make a good income. I am not against that.

I am from UK and changed banks so that I would be able to talk to someone locally from my actual bank branch rather than a call centre in a different country. I have no problem with outsourcing to India for product manufacture or something else but do like to speak to someone locally when handling finances rather than someone from a callcentre thousands of miles away.
