I upgraded my site to Wordpress 2.5!!!

I am so excited, I upgraded to Wordpress 2.5 for both my sites today without a hiccup! I have not been on mylot as much as I like to be because I have been working so much on them. I was terrified to do the update but I used the wp-automatic upgrade plug-in and it worked beatifully! I must have a good host - so many people were having problems because of hosting issues!
I also installed a new plug-in called "Comment Luv" on both of them which means if you leave a comment on them with a link to your blog it will grab your last blog post and display it under your comment. How nifty!
I also recently joined a new blogging forum at http://www.blogpremiere.com/forum/ where I am learning some nifty tricks. They are allowing you to post affiliate links AND shamelessly promote your blog.

i have started blogging a while ago and for me blogging is seeming difficult to me ... and also i never used wordpress i only use blogger as they say its more advanced and for techies.
And one more things what's so shameless about promoting your blog? ... if its good enough then promote it with pride!

many sites like mylot and others don't like people promoting their stuff - they think you are using it for commercial purposes, lol.
wordpress is definately not for the timid :) But I am so happy with it now that i've learned a lot of ins and outs and tricks.

Very neat. And I'm over there checking it out. I'm over there checking it out (and the new forum too.) Well, I think the proudest moment on my blog was yesterday when I got a notification from PayPerPost that my first "outside" job had been approved. Since that blog is fairly new and hasn't much circulation yet, I expect few or low-paying offers but my first assignment was accepted for $18. Cripers that pays for more than 2 months of my TypePad service. I'm so glad I upgraded.

That's awesome - I am on the fence about pay per post...I've heard some good things, some bad things...so we'll just have to see!! Some day I might do it since I like money :)
