Mmm. Lemon yogurt. What's your favorite flavor of yogurt?

Can't believe I've never tried lemon yogurt before, but I hadn't until today. It was wonderful! When I was buying yogurt the other day, it occurred to me that the lemon might taste something like lemon meringue pie. It wasn't quite the same texture, of course, but it was tangy and sweet all at the same time. Great! Wish I would have had some blueberries to put in with it - I love blueberries and lemon together, as in muffins. How about you. Do you like yogurt? What's your favorite flavor?

I love yogurt. My favorite is vanilla. My husband buys all kinds so I've been able to try quite a few, but I keeping returning to vanilla. I like to add raisins and unsalted peanuts to it or granola on top. I like to use vanilla yogurt as a dessert with fruit too. Yogurt seems to be making a comeback lately as healthy - lots of mention of it in articles. Oh and I've had the lemon and I think as far as refreshing goes, lemon would be better.

I also like to eat vanilla yogurt - and will sprinkle some cheerios on top and a few slices of peach or someother fruit is also good.. or a drizzle of honey. karen, have you tried key lime pie too?

Yes, yogurt does seem to be very popular these days. It's good for the stomach. And eating dairy is supposed to help with losing weight, so those are two good reasons to me. I've never thought to add peanuts - or cheeries. Great, crunchy ideas!

I've been trying to branch out in my flavor choices, too. Blueberry is on the agenda for today!

I really only eat plain or vanilla because sometimes certain flavor combinations give me headaches. But, I also love lemon, lemon chiffon, chocolate, key lime, and many others if I could eat them. I agree with you, though, the lemon flavor doesn't quite have the same texture as lemon meringue pie, though I think that's the picture some of the yogurt containers have on them.

Perhaps you are right. I probably wouldn't eat plain yogurt so much if it wasn't for the Kroger brand yogurt. It tastes so good that I don't need to add anything to it.

I had key lime yogurt once and it gave me a bad headache. Turns out it was artificially sweetened. I can't have artificial sweeteners for that reason - bad headaches and dizziness. I always read the label just to be sure. Maybe you should check and see if that could be the culprit in your case. Nothing wrong with plain or vanilla, though!

My taste changes from time to time, but the one flavor I never get tired of is lemon. I also like Fever Tree Bitter Lemon which is a soda pop with quinine in it.

I know an acupressure point that instantly relieves leg cramps. PM if you want me to try to find a link describing the technique.

I've been going back to the lemon and the lime recently, and I tried the orange creme which was really good. I think I'm hooked on citrus! I'd love to try the Fever Tree Bitter Lemon with the quinine. I drink plain tonic water (or with a twist of lime) to help with leg cramps sometimes, but that sounds much more tasty. Thanks for the recommendation. (Great to see you on Squidoo!)

Hmmmm..... I think my favorite type of yogurt is cherry vanilla. I also like regular vanilla, but you have to throw in a few strawberries or blueberries and granola kind of like McDonald's.

Cherry vanilla yogurt sounds wonderful. So do those additions of fruit. Now, that has to be healthy!

I like to cut up bananas in mine, too. There's a flavor called Banana Split that I really like. Sounds like your strawberry banana but with a little bit of pineapple for good measure. Now, the chocolate mint yogurt. THAT sounds fabulous! I'm a chocoholic and love to have a little chocolate in the mornings. That would be perfect! I'll have to look for it.

Lemon is really one of my favorite flavors, although my family doesn't care for a lot of lemon things. Glad to know you like it - and I hope you find some lemon yogurt to try. Let us know if you like it!

I've never tried lemon yogurt before! I guess I had never really thought of that being a good yogurt flavor, but it does sound pretty good now that you've described it. I guess my favorite kind of yogurt would probably be strawberry. I really like the yoplait strawberry light and fluffy kind the best. It's so good! I will have to look for lemon the next time I'm at the grocery. :)

I had strawberry cheesecake yogurt this morning. It was good, but I didn't taste the cheesecake very much, so next time I'll probably stick with just the strawberry. You can never go wrong with strawberry, in my opinion. I hope you enjoy the lemon. It's still my new favorite!

Mine is peach, and strawberry. They are the only flavour of yoghurts that I really like, although I must admit that lemon sounds really nice too.

Peach and strawberry make me think of summer. I love both of those flavors! It would be good to keep those around especially for dreary days (like today) to remind me of sunny, warmer weather and juicy peaches and red, ripe strawberries. Thanks!

Makes me think of the banana pudding I fixed recently. I'm sure the yogurt would be a much healthier version, though. Banana yogurt with bananas cut up in it. Yummmmmm!

I love the lemon yogurt too...can I have more than one favorite? Please? Ok....I also love key lime and strawberry cheesecake. I have never put fruit in my yogurt but I occasionally put grapenuts on top. I like the crunch with the creamy yogurt, it's always a healthy refreshing snack.

Of course you can have more than one favorite! I love grapenuts and that sounds really good to add. I'll have to try it. Now that it's blueberry season, I've been adding a big heap of fresh blueberries to my lemon yogurt. I love blueberries, so you can be sure I enjoy that combination. I even feel very self-righteously healthy when I eat that!

I have two favorite flavors of yogurt. I like French Vanilla and I like Pina Colada. It's funny becuase as a kid I didn't like vanilla flavored yogurts at all. Strawberry-banana was always favorite when I was younger. I don't like whipped yogurt or any of the chocolate flavors.

Pina Colada sounds especially good. The banana split version I eat has just little pieces of pineapple in it and it is so good. I will definitely look for pinda colada. Thanks!

I had not heard of eating hemp until just a couple of days ago. It sounds like you are a very health-conscious person!
