Starhub customer care can only tell you this:
a) if it is an overseas number, we cannot do anything. you have to lodge a police report.
b) if you want to change number without paying surcharge, you have to lodge a police report. We can change the number for you, however, there is a S$30 surcharge to change your mobile number.
c) the number you have given is an Indonesian number, +628 is from Bali.
I DO NOT KNOW anyone in Bali, Indonesia. I have received calls from an unknown number and 4 sms from:
+628133 5954 373 sent sms at
1. 10.22pm with this mgs Hi, whose no Is dis? Let me know...

The above smses in EXACT WORDING by +628133 5954 373 are still in my inbox.
From 10.20pm to 11.50pm - i have received more than 25 missed calls - non stop.
I had no choice but to call Starhub customer care and all they can say is same thing like a broken recorder:
a) if it is an overseas number, we cannot do anything. you have to lodge a police report.
b) if you want to change number without paying surcharge, you have to lodge a police report. we can change the number for you, however, there is a S$30 surcharge.
c) if its an overseas number, the police also can't do anything.
at this moment while I am writing this I am still getting missed calls by the second. if police can't do anything, you are a mobile provider, surely you can do something to block this number or change my number? it's not a case of changing number for fun but I honestly can't be having the phone ringin non-stop and now its past midnite! I cannot also limit callers, because if i do that, only callers in the list can contact me, which only 10 callers can contact me, how about my friends who calls me and not in the list? how would I know which friend will call me so that I can allow and unblock for them to call?!
Is this how Starhub in Singapore treats its customers? (http://www.starhub.com/)
