I really dont know who invented pizza. but there's a lot people who know to made it. It is as from the oven-baked flat, usually round bread the has toppings like tomatoes and other garnishing on it with cheese too.Pizza originally from Neapolitan cuisine and become popular for different places because of its unique taste and different presentation.

I just watched a show on this the other night. Pizza was brought to the US by Italian imigrants in the early 1900's but did not spread to outside the Italian-American community until the 1950's when they started opening pizza shops as we know them today. There is, however, a huge controversy about where pizza came from depending on how you define pizza. Cultures dating back centuries such as the Greeks, for example, have been putting different toppings on bread. The pizza as we know it today however did originate in the Naples section of Italy where they would put sauce and cheese on bread.
Hope that helps!

Pizza, like so many other foods, did not originate in the country for which it is now famous. Unless you have researched the subject, you, like so many people, probably always thought Pizza was strictly an Italian creation.
The foundations for Pizza were originally laid by the early Greeks who first baked large, round and flat breads which they topped with various items such as olive oils, spices, potatoes and other things. Tomatoes were not discovered at that time or, very likely, they would have used them as we do today.
