Okay, I'm having problems with my printer and I need to print a lot of pages. I'm not good with fixing computer or printers, but something is wrong with my printer.
I have a Dell Photo 924 All-in-One Inkjet printer. I went to dell support, but I had no luck and my warranty is up and I'm not about to spend $39 to talk with someone in technical support just to tell me what the problem is. I can go get a new All-in-One for about that price.
But heres my problem. When I press to print the paper goes down half way as usual and you can hear the printer printing but the paper never goes down any further. It use to say that the paper is jam but it is not. I looked to see if anything was stuck inside but there nothing in there.
Can anyone help me? Any ideas?

One of the first things to check is see if anything changes if you turn your printer off and then on again. See if any unusual lights come on or lights that used to be on don't turn on. Check the ink levels in the printer also. I know some printers just won't do anything if they're out of ink, although most do register an error message telling you that that is the problem. If your printer has a manual knob that you can turn to feed the paper through, try doing that while telling it to print, and maybe it will catch. I'm not an expert but have had my share of difficult printers. If you do end up buying a new one, I have an HP laser jet 1200 and am very happy with it. Just some ideas. Good luck.

Thanks for the ideas. I've did everything you mention, I did it several times. When I first was having this problem I went ahead and put in new ink cartridges. My printer don't have a manual knob. I do believe something is wrong with the feeder. I will keep the HP in mind.
