Apart from meeting people in various social functions, festivals and religious ceremonies, I get the opportunities to meet many people through my ongoing stock trading business. It gives me ample scope to expand my social and business network.

thanks. I have been in school for the last five years and am now working. I did not meet boyfriends but made a lot of friends at school. I was a mature student so they were mostly 1- to 15 years younger than myself.

I dont think i would host a party. I am kinda shy for that and i would worry if anyone would come. What kind of parties do you have. what do you do at the parties

You could take a class in your community. It could be anything in which you're interested, like art, dancing, dog training, sailing, hiking, etc. My county offers many great classes like these, or you can find similar ones at many YMCAs.

wow that is awesome. you usually meet married men in places like that but i suppose for every single mom there is a single dad.

Anywhere...
On the city bus, in the streets, at the fairgrounds, library. :) I meet new friends all over the place, and have so many my memory does not recognize them all! :) That is cause I make it a point to be friendly and be a friend to everyone unless they give me a good reason to avoid them. :)
