No mature content.. This is about how you rate people's activity here in mylot.. Just a magnetic topic!!
Just wanted to know on what basis you rate mylotter's activity?? Do you look for any violations of the terms and condition?? Or do you see if the opinion is the opposite of yours?? Or do you see the quality and quantity in the post?? And when do you give a '!' ??
I have so far never given a ! and most of my ratings are + . I give - only if I didn't like the post..
How about you??

I didnt try it yet, I dont know whats the consequence, If I give + do I lost some of my earnings? hehe.
And I dont receive any ratings yet, I dont even know where could I find it or where can I see it.
When I knew it, i think I wont gave a negative, maybe the range would be positive 1 to 10 whatever is the highest.

By the way I noticed that my star change from green (5) to gray (7), does it mean I already received positive ratings?

Well any time I reply to a discussion I rate it. I always give a positive (+) on those. I find this is a great way to make sure I don't accidental post to discussion I already have replied to. If it's rated I know I have. 
Now if I spot a discussion that is in blatant violation of the guidelines I will report it. For example one that is in a foreign language, I will report it (!) and then give it a negative rating (-). Just remember if you want to do this you have to report it first, if you give the negative first you can't report it.
Now as to replies I give positives to ones who respond to my discussions. In other discussions I'll give positives to those that really stand out. I don't give negatives as a general rule. The few exceptions are when it's blatant guideline violations.

Same here. It's a great way to figure out where you left off and also if you are trying to spot any replies to comments, especially if you don't get the notification on them.

I usually don't give any - rating. I have also not tried ! but i give my + rating to those responses or discussions which i feel helpful. + rating should be given for the discussions that are helpful.
