Did your labours go to plan how you wanted them to be?
My first daughter it was really quick less than three hours no pain relief and fairly easy, I hadnt made any plans really and was happy with how it went.
My second daughter though I was going to try again no pain relief but wanted her handed to me as soon as she was born not even cleaned, as I didnt with my first and got no cuddles with her being rushed to intensive care.
I got my perfect labour although I did have some pain relief gas and air I got to hold her well pull her out and up really when she was born and it was really calm with low lights and peaceful I have a lot to thank the midwives for as they were so wonderful in helping me have the labour I wanted. Her birth was super quick also less than 1 and half hours I think I was really lucky with both labours.
SO how was your labour?

both of my labors went great. My first baby came on her own, I was in pain but did get relief and only in active labor for like 2 hours, I pushed for just 30 minutes although it was SO HARD and felt her come out it was amazing, she was HUGE and I did rip a little bit but it was all worth it. It was a great labor a total of 12 hours with her....which is great for a first birth
My second birth my water had broke, but they could not confirm that for like 8 hours I had to be induced because my body was not even contracting, and my cervix was still really high.
Once they started the process and pitocin ran, the rest of my water broke and then things really started to go fast. Literally I was at 7 dialated when I got the epidural and literally within an hour baby was coming out. I felt the head a bit and I did wake up but I was so numb it was hard to tell, I could tell though something was going on and was waiting for the nurse to come in, she came in a half hour after they said they would come in, and I said that I felt something
well lo and behold they checked me and she said "Is that the head?" and sure enough, they were like "Do not push"
After she said that I was like "OH my goodness I can feel my body is pushing I can not stop it the baby is coming out"
they coul dnot even break down the table in time as she just came right on out of my body I did not even push her out, my body just did all the work, I probably could have slept through her birth it was crazy!
With her it was truly a 6 hour labor experience after starting to first contract....so if we had another child, I would be scared i would not make it to the hospital in time.
Overall I am super lucky that my kids came with no problems and able to give birth so easily.

Ah yes we are planning one more baby and as my first labour was 2 hours 45 mins and my second only 1 hour 23 mins I was induced so thankfully allready in hospital my fear next time is that I will go into natural labour and not make it to hospital, however due to other problems i should unless i go into labour really early be induced a few weeks early so should be in hospital anyway

my first labor was very long about 30 hours from the time my water broke.I was glad that it did break n its own because I wanted that experince.I had pain meds and they gave me pitocion and that didn't help at all. When the time came for me to deliver her my pulse sky rocked and I had to stop pushing for 20 mins.My second was very quick I had to actually wait for the doctor to get back he came to the hospital t check me then went back t the hospital.I had enugh time to get an epidadural.I did't make plans fr either one because I didn't want to set myself up for disapontment. So I just went with the flow and had to healthy babies. My first was born at a military hospital and they had to many nurses in the room for no real reason that was my biggest problem.
