Are You Close With Your Older Siblings?

Me, I'm lucky to have a good relationship with my other siblings. We all have 3 years gap so not that far to each other. We all have the same interest and we usually just stay at home and bond. We share each other stories and new interest. By the way I have 2 sister and 1 brother.

My older siblings are quite a lot older from me, and were from my dads previous marraige, so are my half-siblings. I grew up as an only child, the were never around, and after that they were always the source of much stress in the family, because of their jealousies and nasty beahaviour towards me, due to my close relationship with my Dad. Since last christmas, after a huge fight, i ahvent seen any of my 3 much older siblings, who are all frankly old enough to know better. I doubt i'll see them again for a very long time to be honest, which is sad, because all my dad ever wanted was all his kids and him together, as a team, as a family. Maybe one day we can all get along?.. xxxxx

as i hate to say this but i am not really close close with my older siblings because when i was a child, i did not live with my older siblings together. what i mean by this is that we lived in separate houses. i lived with my grandmother while my older siblings lived with my dad. from my view now that i am mature enough to see, i know that there have been things that i missed growing up without my older sibling near to me. i am pretty sure they could have helped me a lot with my questions in life and in school. if i had the chance to go back in time, i would choose to be with my older siblings because i know now that it is hard to make that bond with them after i have been out from their lives for a long time.

I have one older sibling, a sister, who is 2 and a half years older that I am. She and I were pretty much never close while we were growing up, except for the days when she chose to be my friend. Okay, so we did get along when we were very little, but once I started 1st grade everything changed. To this day we are not close, again her choice, and I have only seen her once in the past 18 years.

We are just two of us me and my younger brother and we keep in regular touch everyday through chat. But my DH have two elder brother and one elder sister. They are kind of close with each other and I really enjoy when we all get together on occassions.

Not as close as I am with my younger sibling. I have two sisters, one is 7 and the other is 14. The reason why is because my sister who is 14 is in that stage where all she cares about is her friends and that moody teenager stage. I watch movies and play games with Kierra (the one who is 7). I am still close with Brittany (14 year old) and I have to say for being sisters we don't fight as much as others do, we get along pretty well. For the most part I am more close with Kierra.
