How do you handle an Insecure Boss!??!!!

I have a boss who calls me every ten to twenty minutes a day. It's driving me mad on what he would ask or say. How many people already came to the store, anyone of the workers went for lunch, how long did they take to come back, when I decide to leave for lunch my boss call's my husband and ask to speak to me after him calling the shop. He wants to know how much money the shop makes and what time the staff leaves. The weird part is that he has a camera in the store fix towards the door in who comes and who goes. It's more but, that is really far out to fatch for you readers. What do you think ? I'm very annoyed!!!!!

why not select leaving, resign is better than be fired ,
we have lots of opportunity to work again, if you don't try you never find that the world is so beautiful and so open ,

Well I love doing my job and really it's not to hard for me to take care of the store, the custermers and the money. But if he start calling my house and being very annoying at my home then, I might leave on the spot with hope that he don't push the wrong buttons.

shanny73, i remember answering one of your post about this lady who got fired in front of you.. is this the same job who accepted? so how was it, by the way... i hope everything is well for you, except for this minor concerns your boss has to resolve by himself.
maybe you can just give him assurance that the store is safe with you.

Yes it is the same job and I was very stress out, of him annoying me but, today I'm not paying him to much attention in my brain, about his actions. Just the other day a good friend of mines, sister came into the store to pick up a document, from me and she told me that, she knows my boss very well. She whisper in my ears that, my boss and her work together for couple years back and that he, loves solid woman and his head is a little slow. Then my nerve carm down alot and convinced that, is the problem with him. Now I doing the best I can in my work place and just not letting him get to me no more. I'm not telling you he stop his crap but, I got to the point were I'm not going to let his way of doing and saying things affect me to tuff because, now I know he's that way, I can expect anything out of him. If I didn't find that out by now I might of quit!! Thanks!!

I understand how you feel. I am having the same problem with my boss - the only difference is that she's an old maid. well, I'm on my way to resigning, I am just looking for another work. As of the moment, I am just ignoring whatever remarks she utter and when the remarks is about me, Believe me, i just pray and found comfort on the idea that sooner or later she'll regret how she threat other people because at that time she'll be all alone and nobody would want to care for her because of her attitude.

I think you can talk with him freely in a free time and tell him about your brother. If he agree with you and change himself, it means that the one is a acceptable person. But if not, tell him about your annoyed and decapitate him! Leave him pizazz!

I'm keeping an open mind because people could change if they want to but to me he has a problem with his self and now I know that it's not even his fault for his action I just stop paying him attention to stress me out on his job what have so much potential!! Thanks for your comment!!
