Are there any Native Americans out there?

Hello....I'm Native American and I was wondering if there are any others out there. I'd like to see how many other tribes there are on here. Are there any discussions pertaining to Native American issues? Would like to know...I'm Cherokee by the way....Thanks

My Great-Great-Great Grandfather was Lame Bull a Cheyenne Medicine Man. I am proud of my heritage even though I have not learned much abut it. I only started to learn about my heritage and making crafts within the past 5 years and then only in earnest for the past 3 years. I do go to pow wows (I went on the pow wow trail this summer) and plan on going again next year with more craft and hopefully learn more about my Native American heritage. Unfortunately I was brought up in the white mans way and my parents did not teach us kids anything about our heritage , I learned abut my Great-Great-Great Grandfather by listening to my Grandmother when I could.

Yes, I urge everyone to find out about their heritage and where they came from, I think its very important. Its good to hear that your doing what you can to learn all that. I used to go to powwows alot, but I don't go that much anymore. Listening to our elders is a good way to learn alot of things, I wished more people would do that. Thanks

Hi there :),i haven't seen any discussions pertaining to anything Native American,altho i am fairly new here.I do have Native American as an Interest in People i Admire,it's good to know i'm not alone :)I too am Cherokee,nice to meet you

Hello....its nice to meet you too. Well maybe we'll have to start one up...Yeah, I'm pretty new here also, I've only been on here a week...nice to meet you too..I just read a book called Cherokee Rose.
