Firefox safer than Internet Explorer / myLot

I have known firefox three years ago. The first time I used it, I was amazed by its tab browsing feature. But its not only that, I found it more safer to use than Internet Explorer (IE). Viruses, trojans, and other malicious software keep on coming every month. You need up-to-date virus database in your anti-virus software to defend your PC against the harm caused by these malwares. Internet Explorer (IE) which is bundled in Windows is commonly attacked because of its popularity. Attackers, virus creators, knows that IE is installed by default in Windows. That's why IE is their primary target. Even the latest version of IE which is IE7 running under Windows Vista has been a victim of virus attacks. I've experience it myself. I saw a custom message on the title bar of IE7 under Vista in my laptop. I know its not part of the normal text in the title bar of IE7. Every time I run IE its always there. I never encountered this problem in Firefox. Microsoft claimed that IE7 is secure but I have doubts in their statement. My personal experience with IE and Firefox gave me idea on which two is more secured. In conclusion, to lessen the chances of getting infected with online threats use Firefox as your day-to-day browser. Use only IE when you visit trusted sites that really requires IE such as Windows Update. Happy browsing!

yes i do think FF is better than IE.and i think that they are safer than IE also.I've had and used FF for nearly two years now.I love them and i will always stay with them.FF is my most favorite browser,and i will never use another browser again.i've had alot of times that where i've gotten ppl to use FF,and after they used it,they said that FF was the best,and most reliable browser that is on the internet.one time here recently,my friend said that he had had used his old browser which was called,Earthlink,and than he said that he caught a virus on his browser,and than had to do a restore on his puter.than after he did his restore,he put Earthlink back on and it messed up on him again.so, than,he was telling me about it again,and i said,"Use FF.It is safer,and much,much more better.I've had it for nearly two years,man."he took my word,and installed FF,and what'd ya know?No trouble browsing on the internet.:) He said that he's never seen such a gr8; browser ever. he said that they were fast as well as reliable,and safe. So,IMO,FF is my number one source to browse the internet!!!
