666, is this number lucky or unlucky

According to some psychic, numbers 666 means evil, its death. I am just wondering if you are aware of it, or read about it. The reason why I wrote about it because my number on what I have responded or open subject for discussion NUMBER TO 666. I always dont talk about that nor give notice on that. But when I was in Hongkong we were told by our tourist guide, that in China the number 666 is lucky, thats why most of the Chinese cars selected no 666 in their plates number or if not the 999 which is the inverted 666. Do you believe this is an evil number. Me, as much as possible I just ignore and dont take so much attention on it.

666 is supposed to be the number of the devil from the Bible. It is though a mis translation and the actual number written in the original bible is 616
Personally though don't pay any attention to lucky or unlucky numbers

Thanks for the response. Care to send in the title of the bible, New or old, the translation made and the date it was published. It is only now I came to know, I want to read. Thanks again. I dont believe those lucky and unlucky numbers.

It in the book of revelations somewhere - been a while since I have read the bible so not sure exact chapter and verse. It was originally written in a Greek version. I know that it has been translated so many times from hebrew, to greek, to latin to english, that no-one noticed that the originally wording has been mistranslated

None at all, but sometimes, when I am seeing that number in cars or in any place, if there is something I have to attend to or to do there are some hitches along the way. Maybe its coincidence but I just try to evade or just dont think about it. As long as we are doing good things we dont have to be afraid. Thanks for the response.

i don't think there is unlucky number even the much publicized evil number has no proof why it was being called that way. numbers are only numbers and it has no life so how would it become unlucky or bad. its just because of the people using the number that makes them bad.

numbers to me, are numbers. There is not such a thing as a lucky or an unlucky number.
But for example if you throw two dice and add up the numbers, there is a number that is more likely to appear that any other number (7) which may be why people consider it "lucky".
Talking about numbers, did you know that in a plane there are no seats with the number 13?

Yes, we must not be guided by lucky or unlucky numbers. Yes, there are no 13 and also in high rise building 13 number is omitted. Thanks for the response.

according to the Bible, this is an evil number and it is used to represent the Satan, this is the symbolic meaning of the number. As for the Chinese, 6 and 8 is always lucky, no matter how they are combined

So you believe it is unlucky. So per Chinese belief, it is lucky, thats what they told us also. But non believer, and even those who on it the best thing to do is to do things the right way, do good things and we will reap good things also. Thanks for the response.

666 is no more an evil number than 123 
as far as I'm concerned...In numerology 666 would be broken down to #9 which is a celestial number and a good one....9 represents completion, fullfilment etc...666 on its own is about personal spiritual balance and healing....

That is what our Chinese Tour Guide told us. For them 24 is the unlucky one. But ust ignore the numbers. Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the response. What we are and what we will be depends on us, on our faith. As long as we are doing good things theres nothing to worry about.
