How many email accounts do you have?

I have TOO MANY! (LOL) Don't we all? I have three what you'd call "personal" e-mail accounts with three different providers. They're all free, thank goodness. I'm glad most places have come up with that because I think it's a great idea. Pretty much anyone can get a new e-mail address without a second thought and without having to pay for it. It's amazing. The main reason I have various e-mail accounts is because one is through AOL so I can have a free AIM account to chat with a certain group of friends and family. I also have Yahoo so I can use Yahoo messenger, which is the one I use the least. That's an address that I receive a lot of spam. It's also the one where I have all those special offers and junk mail so I can fish through it later. (LOL) I also have a Windows Live (Hotmail) address. This is so I can have Hotmail like my fiance and use the Windows Live Messenger that allows my fiance and I to video message each other whenever we want. Interestingly enough, our video messaging doesn't work on the other two messengers! I find that really odd, but at least we've found one that works for our needs. My fourth e-mail is actually the one I have through my full-time job. It's through my company, so I can't access it at home, of course. That's through Outlook. I think most companies use Outlook for their e-mail server. It's really nice, and I don't know what I'd do without. Like I said, I have too many e-mails, but I'm glad I have them. The one I check the most is my AOL and work addresses. The least used e-mail is my Hotmail although I use the messenger for that one all the time. Oh, and then there's that thing where you can link all your screenames together in one place on one messenger. I know it sounds confusing, but I've done that too. When I was working, I had one for work, and one for at home. When we switched providers, I had one through the new provider, but kept forgetting to check it. Then they went under, so I didn't need it anyways. Now that I don't work, I only have the one account, and it works fine. I just have to make sure I check it every day to delete anything that is just junk.

I am just like you. I think I have 8 also. I forget about them all the time until something jogs my memory. I pretty much have them for all the reasons you list here as well. Funny. ....... great mind, right?

I have a lot of account in yahoo, in hotmail and in gmail. But the account I usually used is in hotmail.

Just got the basics, hotmail, yahoo, and gmail. Probably have some other emails lying around that I could use from other sites I've signed up for from time to time, but I just dump it all into an email program, so I only have to check one thing. I see not a lot of reason for separate accounts, but I have found that different email services have different email filters, so I tend to sign up for stuff that might send junkmail with one account, and my other for all other uses. I simply see no reason to complicate things further than they need to be.

I have two primary e-mail accounts that I use for diferent things, and one more e-mail account that I use as a backup, like when one of my primaries doesn't function. I check all e-mail accounts regularly to make sure I don't miss anything. I also have another e-mail account that came with my account, when I signed up for Boomertowne.

I only use my ISPs email service. However, I create separate email addresses (forwarders) for different purposes and vendors I buy from (which all feed into my main account). I have about 400+ of those. So, if someone gives one of my email addresses to someone else and that leads to spam, I just wipe that address out and they are off my list.

I have one email account, one is enough to keep up with.. I am not good at remembering all of the secret codes, the passwords, the secret questions and everything else that is thrown out at you.. Everything that you do anymore has a password or some type of secret question that you have to remember and I am not that good at remembering.. Oh yes, I do have another email account that I had forgotten about until just now, but do not remember the password to get into it, I have not used it for about 2 years.. Probably will never check it again as I do use this main one and it is so much simpler.. Happy posting..

i have two emails accounts at the moment. one at yahoo.com and other at gmail. the yahoo 1 i normally use for chatting etc and the gmail account is more of an offical id.

I only have two, am I behind the times? I have so much other stuff on the web that two e-mail accounts would short circut my brain. Now if you want to start a good discussion ask people how many websites they have in their favorites folder. I'm guessing at least 50 per surfer, let me know how that topic does.

i am having three accounts,one at yahoo and another two at gmail and rediffmail.out of the three i mainly use my yahoo account and other two i use rarely...

I have few email accounts, each was created for a different purpose. Of course, I am guilty of creating emails accounts and forgotten about it. That's the benefit of getting free emails accounts.

i have an office mail, which i only use for office related matters. my primary email is gmail..i have a hotmail account, which i use for my msn messenger. i have 2 yahoo accounts, 1 is for my yahoo messenger and the other one i use for signing up for programs and stuff like that.

well i have 3 email accounts and 2 of them i use all the while but the other 1 i dont really use that much

You can say that I am a fanatic for accounts. I have 6 accounts on yahoo 5 on msn 5 on gmail 1 on mail.com I think thats all. :)

i have about 4 id's active now.. namely of gmail-2,yahoo,rediffmail.. i had id'z at indiatimes,sify tooo but forgot about them... i have so many of these as i use each one for different work....
