Yes, we do lock it.. just to be safe. you can never tell what happens, though we have double locks for our gate.. still.. we need to be cautious these days.

I could lock my door if I wanted to since there is a lock on it but I dont even close my door..I have on occasion but just end up getting woken up in the middle of the night by either one of the cats trying to get in or one of my dogs whining to come in..So I dont even bother closing it

OH! Yes! Certainly! I am married and I think we need to take all the precautions, before going for sleep. It is always better to lock the door. Even if no human being may come in, when the door is left unloked, cats and rats can always peep in our bedroom.....LOL!

No I dont but then I have my own house with my partner and I like it open so I can hear our two children in the night. Before our children when we stayed for three months with my partners mother we had to get a lock for the door as his sister has cerebal palsy and she would just walk in on us no matter what time night or day we had to for privacy his mother didnt mind as she understood.

If I locked it then they would think there is something wrong with me... I usually just close it.

Hi dear subha, my husband prefers to lock the bedroom door before going to bed. I know he definitely couldn’t feel asleep if the door is not locked as he is always afraid that some bad hats might sneak into the bedroom when we are sleeping deadly.

well, my room doesn't exactly have a door. its kinda open but private. its because my room is upstairs and no one can easily barge in unless i give permission. i get angry when someone go upstairs and mess things. i easily know when something is moved or something has changed.

When i stay at home with parents, I dont lock the door of my room when i go to sleep neither do i close it. It remains open. However, when i used to stay in a hostel, I had a roommate so we would lock the door and infact we would keep it locked so that no one can disturb us.. Now i stay with my friends in a flat. I have a separate room. I keep it locked when i leave for office. But when i go to sleep i dont lock it. I close it though just for the sake of keeping the mosquitoes away..

I have never locked my bedroom door as there is only my son and I here and the front doors locked so that is enough . I keep my door closed but that is all.

yes, i do.For fear of someone unknown to me entering my room and I'm fast asleep. For fear that the person might kill me or my kids..I lock the doorknob, I have a chainlock and a bolt. That's how scared I am..in this country, crooks are very real and i don't wanna take chances..I couldn't even sleep if I see that i haven't bolted the door properly..

I don't lock my door. Even our main door. We just have sliding doors but no locks. This is one of the thing here in korea that amazed me. Most of the houses don't lock their door when living the house.

Hello, I used to when I lived with my parents , gram , and brother .Sometimes, they would just come in way too early or late . Now that i have a house of my own the door is always open. well, was open until i got pets . Now i have to leave the door open for them because they are always in and out .

We usually keep the door closed and sometimes it is open because our son might need to walk in at night. We don't lock the door unless the kids are awake and we need the privacy.

I never have locked my bedroom door. Sometimes I will close it when my hubby is up watching tv. I like the room to be dark and no sound.LOL

There isn't a lock on my bedroom door. We have some old door knobs in this house. If I even closed the door, my dog would have a fit. He needs to be able to come in and go out. He waits until people are in bed and then goes to eat. Once he's done with that, he has to check on the kids before coming to bed, which is on the floor next to my bed.

I shut my bedroom door at night but I don't lock it. I feel there maybe a reason my children need to get in and they won't beable to if locked. Plus I'd hate to fight with the door if there is an emergency.
