I have a nVidia GeForceGX2 1GB 512-bit and i play alot of games Crysis, Americas Army, Counter Strike, Halo 2, Call Of Duty 4 and grahpic is insane thats for my desktop the i have a ATI for my labtop not so much better than the nVidia. i would say the nVidia is about out of a 10 its like a 9.5 and the ATI is a 9.1 out of 10

ATI is finally making a comeback but still have not caught up to NVIDIa Graphical Performance. For now stick with Nvidia until ATI can push itself back into the market.

Go with the GeForce 9800GX2. ATI/AMD has been lagging behind for the last year. Ever since Nvidia released the 8800GT ATI/AMD has been trying to catch up. You will see a lot of personal opinions because some people have had bad experiences with one brand or another. I myself have had bad experiences with EVERY ATI video card I've ever bought. Some people swear by them, but after multiple bad experiences, I don't plan on buying another one for a long long time, ESPECIALLY if it's made by Sapphire since they don't respond to any support requests. They just don't care about their customers. For nVidia I've had a TNT2, Ti4400, 6800GT, and an OCed 7900GS (my current card) and been happy with every single card I've owned.

AoA. well iwill recomend nVidia no matter what the spec sheets show u my past experiance has told me thet n vidia always gives best price to performence ratio. if still not sure try googling "price to performance ratio of graphic cards" in any search engine
