The Song In Your Head

I have that same problem, espically when I am trying to go to sleep. My mind replays either the lyrics or like the beat of the music. the other night I some part from a song stuck in my head, and replayed for like ever. I almost thought I was going crazy from it.

Yeah, that happens a lot with me. Almost everyday I wake up with some music or the other running through my mind. In 10 minutes or so I will start humming the words also. And not only does it happen in the morning. Even during the day, I will be humming a song, that too just a single line over and over again. Suddenly I start singing some other song. Mostly it will an old one. So I will know only the words and no idea about the singer, music director,etc., Sometimes it really bugs me and other times I really wonder how do I remember the song even after so many years.Do you think it is a result of our surroundings or something?

Oh yea, i had those too almost every morning. There were times where the song just pop up in my head. And unaware of it, my mouth start to sing along with what hang in my head :) I read a book about it, and it said that when you listen to a song that you like, and you listen to in more deeper thought, the song will stuck into our head. And that made us unconsciously start to singing to it out of nowhere. Hmm..our mind contains many memories, and this one stuck in..LOL.

lately i've been humming "the girl from ipenema" its a catchy tune. but a song that i almost ALWAYS have pass through my head each day is the "I wanna be rich! I want money, lots and lots of money!" that song. because I always end up saying "i want money" almost everyday and another song that goes through my head each day is the "ahhh... push it! push it reaaaaaal good" song by salt n peppa.
