why do scientist beleive that life will be finished in the year 2012

Dunno, but people are always predicting that the end of the world will be coming in whatever a year, and it is still here and going strong, so I don't see why it would be true. It is probably to scare people into sorting out there act concerning carbon emissions or something.

you may be right in some way or the another but still why do scientist beleive that the world will be lifeless very soon.....they would have studied something special that is why they are predicting so..............

It is properly only a small section of scientists, who are saying this, the rest will be saying that the world will continue.
Well, we will find out in 4 years time.
