and didn't even know it. I keep saying that I can't wait to get to 500 (or is it 300?) posts so I can copy and paste. That way I can type a discussion or reply in Word and run spellcheck before pasting it into Mylot because I make so many typos and misspellings even if I preview the post first. Now I find out that I already have spellcheck available on my Google toolbar. I use IE so never thought I had a way to do this but found the button this morning on Google toolbar at the top of my screen. And now I use it quite often to double-check my posts/replies. This is probably no surprise to most people, but it was to me and I am so happy. So in case you didn't see it before,if you have Google toolbar you can use the spellcheck button for any form that you type and it catches all those squirrely little typos you don't see before hitting "submit". Just thought I would share that. Although I am probably the only dummy who never saw the thing before. lol

Thanks for sharing that with us. I didn't know it was there either. It is great to get hints like this. FYI - cut and paste is at 500 posts. Thanks again.

I couldn't remember if it was 300 or 500, thanks. But now I don't need it since I found the spellcheck. Wouldn't you know it no hurry to achieve the magic number now. I'll have to find another perk to aspire to. hahaha

I must admit that I have never noticed it before. That will come in handy as some of my keys tend to stick. I'll have to look the next time I am on my own computer. Thanks for that!

Yeah, you are right, if you have reached the minimum of 500 posts you can then copy, paste and uploading photos when replying any discussion. At present I am using Firefox browser, so while I am typing my response in the space, the Firefox spell checker will underline the wrong spelling with red. It is quite convenient for me to check out my misspelling words, as I always make spelling mistake.

A lot of people have told me about Firefox and seem to like it. I tried it a couple of years ago when I got my last computer, but didn't like it. Lots of problems (though I can't remember what they were now) so I went back to IE and was just fine then. Guess I had one of the older versions of Firefox. Thanks for the tip.

I still have not been able to figure out people react so much to some bad spelling. Drama over nothing I think. But I guess people have nothing else to complain about.

I agree with you and never say anything to posters who have typos or grammatical errors because it is really unimportant to the post. But, since I used to edit data entry for a living, it tends to bother me enormously in my own typing. lol

If you use Firefox, you don't have to do anything special at all. It underlines the offending word in red even as you're typing it! I love my Firefox ...

When I bought my computer a couple of years ago I had Firefox. But had problems with it then (don't remember what it was) so went back to IE. Probably one of the older versions of Firefox at that time.
