Today my back is hurting. Luckily this is not something that happens a lot. It is usually my hubby who is complaining about his back. I know that there are some exercises that will help, but I never seems to get around to doing them. Also I know I could take something for it, but I really don't want to dope myself up. Guess I'll just live with it for the time being, and hope that I do not make it worse.

I hope it doesnt get worse, I suffer with back pain daily on a good day I can manage with out pain killers but I always have to be careful incase I make it worse again. when it is worse I have to take a high dose of tramadol and go to bed as at its worst I can not even walk without help. I would not wish bad back pain on anyone

I suffer from DDD. Dengenerative Disc Disease. I can;t sit for a long pweriod of time or the lower portion of my body goes numb. It's not very painful but it does hurt. I do a few little exercises daily to ease this but it is no cure and surgery won't help due to my age. If I had the surgery the Dr tiold me I'd have to have the same done in 5 or 10 years agin so he suggested PT which I went through for a few months.

Mine so far has not been chronic, nor has it put me down. Cross your fingers that it stays that way.

I will do as I really would not wish chronic back pain on anyone it can be very destroying, especially when you have fallen to the floor and are unable to get back up without help at the age of 24 it was most distressing like I say id not wish that on anyone, sadly the drs are no help and simply tell me to take my painkillers and that it is sciatic despite there being a dip in my spine which I can not bear anyone touching, hopefully one day I will find a dr willing to listen

If it's the lower back theres an easy exercise to do. Lie on the floor face first. bring your hands to your sides of your body then lift the lower back up till you feel a slight tinge. Then back down. A few times and this makes the back feel a lot better. I suffer frm DDD and those are the exercises I was taught in PT to do for lower back pain. Hope you feel better soon as well.

I have been having a lot of back pain recently, too. I have never really had any problems with my back before, so I'm not really sure why it has been bugging me lately! I have found that just when I workout in general, my back feels so much better afterward. That has helped me actually a lot more than any painkillers I've tried taking for it. I hope your back feels better soon!
