I think most people like to read. I like it because it relaxes me. I usually read before I go to bed, moostly romance books, or adventures. Anyway, I like the most autobiographies and that kind of books. What do you read? What kind of books and when do you prefer reading?
Thank you all for posting!!

I occassionally will read nonfiction to learn about something that interests me but mostly I just read for enjoyment and that means fiction. I like good, character driven, literary fiction and the type of mystery series known as cozies. (You know the ones with the cottages and the eccentric ladies with cats LOL) Like you I read to relax and I usually read before nodding off.

Hello, ShiversGirl.
I like to read books which talk about auto-help. I don't know if this is as they are known outside of Brazil, but here they are called "Auto-ajuda", or auto-help. They teach you how to control yourself, or how should you talk to people, or how to act in a certain occasion. That's why I like to read them, you can always learn something from this kind of books. At least, in most of cases you ARE learning, and a lot.
However, I also like to ready mysteries. Yes, they leave you thinking who was the killer and only reveal it in the end. Or Science-Fiction books aswell.
I am sorry, but I cannot name any book right now. Only the DaVinci Code, which I haven't finished reading yet.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

I love reading because I find it relaxing. It is also good to keep the mind active depending on what I read.
My favourite choices are usually sci-fantasy, and I have no room left on my shelves because of these books.
I do have a handful of history / educational / practical books, but they are not exactly light reading, before you go to bed, sort of books.
I seem to have quite a collection of cookery books as well, which I often browse through just for ideas. Not exactly reading, more looking at pictures.

I only like to read fantasie adventure books. With other books theirs like a lot of chance of falling asleep but white fantasie adventure books. Dang i just have to keep reading them. I read like a book of 500 pages in one evening till the morning 5 a.m. yeah i was tired but the book was addicting.
