Well, I was sitting on the toilet last night, and I realized that our roll of toilet paper was running a little low, and the toilet paper package only had one more roll left in it. It got me thinking, how often does everyone else buy toilet paper for their house? We have 2 bathrooms in our house, and the bathroom upstairs uses Scott toilet tissue, we don't like that downstairs, so we buy Charmin, which is more expensive but so much more comforting on the tush! We tend to buy a 6 pack of Charmin for downstairs every other week, because it's usually just my boyfriend, myself and my sister using that bathroom. They go through far more upstairs, because it's my parents, and 2 youngest siblings up there.
How often do you buy toilet paper for your home? Do you buy one roll, or a package with maybe 4, 6, 12, or 24 rolls? Is there a specific kind of toilet paper that you use?

Since its just me and my boyfrind in our house, we dont go through alot though I do buy a 18 pack when it is on offer at the store I work at. Its soft and good value. I do tend to stock up on toilet roll as it always comes in handy and since its on offer, I never know how long it is till the next time it comes on offer.

I usually try to wait until it goes on special, and then I use one of my $1 off coupons that I've gotten out of the newspaper. It saves even more, and I'm all about saving!

The store I work at is reasonably cheap anyway. I only pay £3.49 for the 18 rolls. We dont get any coupons in the newspaper for toilet roll. We all appreciate saving!

We usually buy any 24 rolls that are on sale, usually Angel soft. We have on occasion bought charmin and another brand which I can't remember off hand.

We rarely ever buy anything in our house but Charmin or Scott. I should really start buying the 24 pack of Charmin, because in the long run it will actually save me some money, but ah well, maybe next shopping trip.

Ok, we go through 8 rolls a week and I just had to go and have a look what type of toilet roll we use because I cannot remember and we use velvet, it has been on special offer for a couple of weeks so it does for me!!

I've never used that kind before. I can't stand rough toilet paper though. Velvet sounds like it would be a soft brand though.

We always buy the 24 rolls because they go fast in our home. We have 2 bathrooms as well. The one in the basement runs out faster because my cats basically want to live down there and they think it's a toy. We close the door but yeah....our cats can open doors so they keep tearing the roll up. We decided to just hide a roll in the cabinet and to pull it out when needed but a lot of time we forget and leave the roll out so the cats get it. Upstairs it takes longer to run out. We buy more like after 3 weeks and ours is some cheapy unknown brand that I think is only from the particular store we buy it. I actually forgot the name. I know the package had a red stripe on it. Sometimes we get Scott if the cheapy brand is out. Both are kind of rough on the rear.

I never used to mind the more rough toilet papers, until I started living with my boyfriend. He refuses to buy anything other than Charmin. I've gotten quite used to it, and now whenever I try to use other brands, my rump just doesn't agree with it, lol.
My sister's dog, which is a puggle, named Meeko, tends to tear up toilet paper rolls too. He's a little annoying, but still a puppy, and he's only learning. He's getting better though, doing it less and less. He usually only does it when he gets locked in the bathroom by accident, and he's far too short to open doors, lol.

I like using charmin, usualy buy one of those 12 packs which last around 3 months. We don't have guest over to often so I do not mind using the same brand for all the rest rooms.

I think we buy tp maybe every 2-3 months or so. We go to BJ's (like Sam's club or Costco) and get the 24 pack of Charmin. I am not sure which Charmin. Not the Ultra because my hubby doesn't like the feeling. I like it but, what can I do? LOL!
We have 2 and a half baths. I have never really thought about how fast we go through tp. So, I am making a guestimate of 2 -3 months. Could be more, might be less.

I hate when I sit on the toilet and theirs no toilet paper. My twin girls seem to never replace a roll when they finish one. As for how much I buy in a month I couldn't tell you I stock up when it's on sale. We use alot of toilet paper I have my fiancee and 4 kids and me in the house. Lets not forget my lab who loves to go eat toilet paper.

I'm not sure how often, but I think my mum usually buys a pack of 4 or 6. We only get white toilet paper as well. I think coloured ones are tacky.

In this house we buy a jumbo pack of Quilted Northern or Charmin double rolls every three weeks to a month from Sam's Club. It just makes more sense this way. There are 5-6 people in the house, and the majority is women. You know we wipe more. Plus my mom comes over from time to time and steals a few rolls.
The Jumbo pack has 36 double rolls, so its like buying 72 rolls of tissue. Its the best bargain to fill four bathrooms for a month. Three in the house, and my mom's at hers lol.

I usually get at least a 12 pack, sometimes the larger packs. It is usually cheaper that way. I don't really like CHarmin OR Scott, so I usually get Angel Soft or something similar.
I probably only buy one pack or so a month, but it seems as though I am changing the roll each day!

We don't have brands like Scott or Charmin in China. But we have a great deal of choices for toilet paper.I do think good quality is always worthy of a high price. The two most famous brands of toilet paper here are Vinda and Hearttex.I prefer to Vinda rather than Hearttex as you said,Vinda paper is soft and sanitary enough, what's more,It is almost 2 weeks before a roll of Vinda paper is used up.
People know it is more expensive than other brands seemingly, but in fact it saves quite a lot of money in long term.
I often buy a package of 12 rolls every two months. The same to you, I take advantage of buying when it goes on special.

I tend to buy whatever is on offer or is the best value for money. So sometimes I buy a pack of 24, and sometimes just 4 or 6.
My problem is that we tend to store the extra rolls in the back bedroom on top of the wardrobe so they are out of the way. I am a little on the vertically challenged side, so I struggle to reach them. I never know how many rolls there are left and when we need to re-stock.
Sometimes I buy loads just to be sure, and other times I have forgotten and we have almost run out. This is not recommended and kitchen roll has been used as a substitute, it is really not soft enough!

I am not in charge of buying toilet role, so I don't know how regularly we get it, but I know that we try and get good quality toilet role that is on offer and stock up getting a couple of 6/12 packs.
