You can boil the noodles, drain the water [w/o adding the seasoning paket], and stir fry the noodles with veggies in soy sauce. :]

I do this too megumiart but after the noodles are done and the soy sauce and veggies are added, I throw the seasoning in. Its very good!

My son likes to cook the Ramen and put cheese in them for a change. I have fixed them with peanut butter, honey and sesame seeds and my grandkids like them like that. For my self I some time add a dash of hot sauce and some veggies to make a complete meal.

I never make soup with them. I've started draining the water, adding the seasoning packet and adding a little bit of butter to make the noodles creamy. I also top the noodles with chicken or another meat whenever I want something different and quick. You can also add fresh vegetables and make stiry fry out of them or just add veggies. My mom makes a dish where she uses only the noodles but uses the seasoning packet. Then she adds some cream of mushroom soup; not a lot but enough to coat the noodles and she either eats them like that or adds a meat or veggie.

There is a cookbook called 101 things to do with Ramen Noodles. I bought it and my hubby boxed it us to I dont have any great advice for you but I am interested in this topic. Ramen noodles are looked down on in the food world but I like them a lot.
We use them in place of noodles all the time. Make up a dish and serve it over soft ramen noodles. What the dish is depends on if I use the seasoning packet or not.
Thank you. Great question.
