What animal would you like to be and why?

It is a rather strange question on the surface... We are human beings, mammals, animals of the two-legged variety, yet I am asking this about the other animals, birds, fish, mollusks, etc. in the world...
Suspend your disbelief for a moment...
Humor me... Play along if you will... just as you did as a child...
If someone told you that you were going to be changed into an animal whether you wanted to be or not, and you had the opportunity to take your pick from amoung all of the different animals on the globe (other than the obvious "human being" which is out of bounds at this time) what animal would you choose to become and why?

whether you were a wild one or a tame one I would still leave out a few apples, sugar cubes and some good hay out for you... after all, that's what friends are for! grins.

Well probably I would love to try a life of Eagles. I often envy them because they are just cool with the way they live and fly. And it must be fun to fly so high above there ... 
And ... just for thought, to my surprise. Perhaps I would also like to know how it feels like to become a roach (ouch! 
) because I hate them from the bottom of my heart, and every times I found roaches I would chase them and hit them with anything until their lives ended (as a revenge towards what happened in my childhood back then). * grimace *
Sometimes I felt guilty after killing the roaches and just thought to myself, “What did they feel at the last second of their life? Did they hate me very much?”
And ... just for thought, to my surprise. So from an eagle to a roach... that is quite good...
One because you like it and one because you don't.
I know of some people who do a bit of I am sorry to kill you, may you attain liberation now. Anything to escape the guilties.

They are pretty cool, especially when they breach and break the surface of the water... all of that raw energy and beauty too. Good choice.

Well, If I will have to choose an animal to which I will be changed into I will like to become a bird because I wish I could fly like a bird. If that happens to me, I will enjoy fying over this wonderful world and like to watch the earth from the atmosphere and I would have tried to touch the sky.
