What are your opinions on the way people dress to office? My collegue in manageral position comes in his floaters and jeans be it rainy, sunny, meetings or holiday.which sometimes makes me wonder if its alright to be over casual at all times.
whats your opinion

wat matters is really matter, whether clothes or ur work......there is nothing wrong to cover our skin with formal stuffs as far as you are comfortable...........but wen ur formal stuffs suck ur work due to uncomfort.....i feel one should be allowed to wear wat he wish and does a gud job........ha one should not be allow to come and work without clothes though he may find ultimate comfort it may matters other staffs.........may not concentrate in work by the gaint attracting power without clothes......wat do u say.........wen i am a boss i will definitely allow the staffs to wear to thier heart...........
Ha! i ve been wearing age old socks with air conditioning effect because of its virtue of oldness with holes......i ve found it wonderful but a senior madam keep harassing me........DO U THINK WAT SHE DOES IS RIGHT? I am gonna sue her on it...............

Talking abt my office........ i work in a consultancy. i don't have to sell any product to anybody. u can say i sell my ideas and writings. leave office i would even like to meeting with my floaters that to repaired ones, with one faded jeans and t shirt. what does it matter? because if my client does not to me seeing my dress nits their problem not mine. hopefully i will get somebody of similar thoughts.

A lot of it really depends on the office culture. My office is a professional environment, but the people who work there are very laid back. More than half of the people working there are archaeologists, and they occasionally get a phone call in the middle of the day that they're needed to dig something up that same day. So most of the people in my office wear jeans and button down shirts or Polo-style shirts daily. Others dress a bit more formally, but the general office dress code is business casual, with more emphasis on the casual.
