i have been in my present office for two years now. this is my first job ofcourse. i aam seeing various people leaving jobs in my company or in other companys also. i just really want to find what is the most general idea behind leaving a job? is it something related to salary? something related to the responsibility? your collegues? ambiences? or is it always possibel for an employer to make its employee happy so that he doesn't leave the job?

well there can be many reasons to leave a job.first the work environment and the way u r treated by staff.the way boss reacts to u.then there is salary matter.last but not least ur future .most ppl look forward to a bright future and for that one needs many as well as increase in post and knowledge.if u get that then u might get a bit of satisfaction which is very important for u.i have a job which not very satisfying but the work environment is good as for future being in this firm for a long time doesnt make sense so i would go for others which offer me a good package and a good work environment.

I can leave a job for another job because of the salary package offered thats for greener pastures. Sometimes we leave jobs because we are not enjoying the work we are doing or becuase it is not in our career field. You can also be stressed by colleageus that you quit that job. But for me I go for a more paying job than the previous one.

Do job which you really like from your heart, soul.If you are behind salary then try and upgrade your self and your skills, but any one in his life needs time freedom and financial freedom , means , you work when u want to work and you dont work when you dont realy want to work, thats the real job, you can only get that when you have your own business.

well, i have had a lot of jobs in my life, i think that the top reason for leaving any job is money, but also a factor can be boredom or bad atmospheres or stress. The longest i have lasted in a job is 6 years, which i was very surprised with, mostly i move on after 1 or 2 years. My reasons for leaving simply were boredom & the fact that i felt i was being given too much responsibility for the job that i was originally contracted for. I think it is possible for an employer to make employees happy so that they dont leave, by offering bonus's, extra days off. I know a few companies that pay their staff for not phoning in sick every month. I think its just a matter of how much you care about the staff you employ or are they just simply staff.

there can be many reasons. i am also not very experienced. i have 3.5 yrs of exp. actually at every point in career, there are different reasons to leave.
initially its the pay packet that make syou leave one and join one. after you reach a point, then the role that you are offered matters most.

its the responsbile of the management to see that the employees dont leave their job.BUT what the management thinks best may not be your best expectation so at the end its your decision to juggle your salary, job profile, location and job satisfation.
At thh end of the day..its the decision you take to quit or hang on to you job. Never quit a job just becos other collegues have.

I left my last job because of how they treated employees there. They would not listen to any suggestions, and they would not invest in their equipment.
