I think the best medicine is to think that the more you smoke the more money you'll burnt. So dont burn money.
I know a friend who not only hard to makes ends meet but keep on smoking and smoking. My advice to him, is to think that smoking burn and keep on burning a hole in your pocket. So for the sake of yourself and family - quit it before they quit you.

I stopped smoking in 1992 with the help of hypnosis. I only needed one session. I had to really want to stop or I was told the hypnosis wouldn't work. I was surprised by it working so well. Friends are still amazed with my luck. With the price of smokes now a days I wouldn't be able to afford it. I feel so much better health wise. I haven't had a sinus infection since I stopped.

well dude... you already know its bad for the health. I think that is sufficient to motivate to quit smoking. Try once with a strong mind and lets see there after. There are also many ways to quit it. Lets discuss them later...

If u r chain smoker i recommend u to leave smoking slowly. If u r not then i recommend to concentrate on other habits which are not bad for health. From my personal experience i have seen my friends who started to chew bubble gums if they ever get the feeling of smoking
