Do you like the live versions of your favorite songs? I know every band does not release a live album or a live dvd. But you can get lucky and find a few live songs on maybe one of the EP's they have done. So do you like them or would you stick with the studio version of a song? I like live songs, some of them just sound better. but on others album is the way to go.

With certain bands their live tracks definetly sound better. One example is Muse, they always sound better live because they add in a lot of improvisation in their songs and have extra intros and endings on some

I have heard of Muse, but never gave them a listen. So personally I couldn't give a opinion on music that has been written by Muse.

yea, some of them are cool.kiss, zeppelin and dio in particular had great live albums.
the worst i'd heard so far live was cheap trick's "at budokan".not because of the band, but because the audience was so high in the mix.
the shrill screaming got on my nerves after awhile.
i suppose there's only so much you can do with the audience on some recordings though..

Yeah I do sometimes find live music but I don;t prefer it. It just dosen't feel like the actual song.
