what is education?

Do you feel that taking higher degrees makes you more educated?In your opinion what education really mean?is it qualifying your exam after studying all the subject related books.I feel something else. I feel educated means to learn how to behave and respect others. Education makes you feel everybody alike and important in some or the other way. Education changes once life in all respect and bring all changes necessary for a person to become a good citizen.

I don't think education makes you more educated, just more specialised. You know a lot about one or two areas, but since you have spent years focusing on them, then you are likely to know a little about everything else, unless you make an effort to know about more areas. An educated person is a person that knows a lot of stuff about a lot things rather than everything about one thing.
I go to college and I am planning on going to Uni, so I am in no way against education.
