Hi Raumgudney, If you could still access other sites then the problem lies on those sites that are sluggish. Its like a funnel effect the more you pour the less time it finish. Virus don't do selective things like that, they're much meaner :)

I have noticed that I get more log in problems around 5:30pm and 7:30 pm. I have been told that this is the time most people are trying to log on to theri email and to check the internet. It can also be that too many people are trying to log on to a site at once. I have heard that news sites sometimes crash when a news story breaks.
I receintly upgraded my memory and that helps some.

There is just a lot of people online.
Because most of the time.
The computer runs fast.
It just gets annoying when it lags.
Hope your having a good day.

Wassup it so happens that my computer also lags for some sites. i was annoyed by it. But later looking back on it, I found that some sites are preloading content like flash images and videos on the site to make it look more cool. And while doing so, the browser sucks up some resources from the system memory as it needs to use the application installed in the computer. Its kinda natural since most of the sites nowadays are integrating flash and shockwave content to make their site look better and cool. That can be avoided by having a better RAM memory I guess.
Hope that helps.
