Ughh... i am afraid in such condition, being stucked in the elevator is a bad dream to me. Its will be ok if there's a good person inside the elevator, how about if the person is a criminal, or bad guy?
its more scary if i'm just be alone... ah! i cant imagine, i probably cry and pray...
i have nothing to do.

I had this fantasy back in college where I'm in an elevator with this girl I really like but didn't have the audacity to talk to. What better way to get to know this person than being trapped in the elevator? That way, I'd be forced to interact with her, hahaha. That fantasy aside, it would really bum me out if I get stuck in a hot, confined space with people I don't know. I'd probably just try to breathe slowly because I tend to hyperventilate when I'm placed in a "situation". Try to call someone if I get a signal for my mobile phone just in case something wrong happens, at least I have notified someone of my predicament. Well I'd be scared as hell if I get stuck alone. HOPE THAT NEVER HAPPENS, hehehe.

I was stuck in the elevator once, and it wasn't a very good experience. I'm claustrophobic, and the elevator was very small. Good thing there are only a few of us there. We were 'let out' after a while, but we had to climb up, because the door was only half opened.
I also thought about being stuck with a stranger, criminal, and the like. I don't know what I'll do in such case. I just hope and pray it doesn't happen!

I Have Panic Attacks When I Get Stuck In Elevators And Have Started Taking The Stairs Because It Got Sooo Bad. That's Being By Myself, I Could Not Imagine Being Stuck In There With A Bad Person.

I guess I'd shrug it off. I don't mind cramped spaces. I've been known to stay in odder places that are smaller than an elevator. I usually try to carry something to do with me everywhere so I'd most likely sit down and draw or read a book. And if I didn't have the items for that I'd probably just sleep or something.

that will scare me hopefully, I will not experienced this. But, If ever I will be, first thing I will do is just to pray silently! wait patiently too since being hysterical will not help me in this situation!I know people working there will attend to this problem as fast as they could. That will be the hope I will just motivate myself to calm down!If ever, there are other people inside, have to be vigilant also in my purse you know.I might be going home with nothing in my purse!

I had a co-worker stuck in a crowded elevator with a hysterical pregnant lady for about an hour - ON her BIRTHDAY no less!
She came out angry - I can't say I blame her. It wouldn't have been so bad without the crazy lady.
she said it got pretty stuffy, the lady was crying and hyperventlating and stuff - the only time I got stuck in an elevator was during a brief power failure when I was in college.
When I got out, I used the stairs until they got the power plant fixed.

If I am stuck in an elevator first I look at all the buttons and try to find a help button. usually there is a small phone so I just call for help and wait.no use in panicking as that will not help but usually you are at the level and can just push the button that willopen the door in case of emergency and just get off on that floor which means you may either take another elevaror which does work or walk up or down stairs. But atleast you are off the malfunctioning elevator and safe again. do not panic. you can call out if nothing else and people will hear you eventually.

hi manya pearl there are buttons to push on modern
elevators to tell someone that you are stuck then they willsend for help and get you out safely. it pays whenever you are in an elevator to read all the buttons, I was stuck and push the help button, there was a phone ther and they told me to relax they would soon have it fixed . this was in my colleges library and they soon had the elevator moving but it would not go all the way down to the level of the floor so they had to help me climb out onto a stool and then onto the floor, scared but unhurt.

hehe it is scary but im sure the management of the building will do immediate action to get you out there. In case you're with a bad guy, just tell him to be good or else both of you will die, heheh joke!
If it will happen to me, I will just inform the concerned personnel to fix the problem, or call 911 for help, then pray and wait...

I do not think that I would be doing much of anything. I am a very patient person so I would probably just stand there and wait. If someone was in the elevator with me I may and or may not strike up a conversation with them if I am in the mood to talk to random people.

I was stuck in an elevator once. Luckily, I was stuck with an army soldier. After we called the maintenance company, we sat on the floor and played tic tac toe and tiddly winks with loose change we had. It wasn't so bad and we had fun.

Modern ones you can open the roof and get out!
But i would probably pannic - I hate small spaces! - And then if it was only me in there, i would batter the walls, hoping that it opens or smashes or something, i dont know. Prob try and phone for help from my mobile, and then kick the door some more!
lol, Chris
