Has anyone post an ad on craigslist before?

I am needing to have a garage sell but don't want to pay the fee to advertise in the paper. So, I thought about posting on craigslist. I want to know if anyone else had posted before and if you did, did you actually get a good response?

i LOVE craigslist, i have decorated my house, sold a ton TON of stuff, and bought a ton of stuff. only deal in cash, no exceptions, dont list your address until the day of the event and list a cell phone where people can contact you, you will get a HUGE turnout if you do it right... good luck!
