I am trying to publish my poems. I have a bunch and everyone that reads them keeps telling me i should try to publish them. The thing is i have no idea where to start. I looked at publishing compaines online and they want me to pay an arma nd leg and i really cant do that because i dont have any money. Does anyone know where i could publish my poems at? some place that wont take all my money.

Its difficult to get a publisher to look at your poems and want to publish them. Go to poetry.com and enter your poetry, there people can vote on them and you could win an ipod or even cash. I've been with that site for years and have had poetry published in two differnt annuals. Also, if you want to self-publish your poetry it will cost about $300.00, so gather up as many poems as you can write and at least have about 50 poems so the cost won't seem like too much. I've had some sites that want to publish me but I would have to give up my copywrite, don't do that, they are your poems, not theirs. Good luck.

you can publish poems on associated content and then get paid for page views. If you make a lot of friends and publish 1 poem a day on there you will do okay. I made about $10 with them last month with my articles and page views.

Try lulu.com. You can publish and sell your book of poems there and it is free.
