Boiled eegs bomblast in microwave

Once my hubby boiled eggs in microwave in glass bowl suddenly we heard a heavy thud literally like bomb blast shocked I rushed to kitchen microwave door was open the whole kitchen was a mess stinking with egg smell. Actually he has not poured enough water so the eggs burst oh! that day we went to bed by 3am after cleaning the kitchen for nearly 5 - 6 hours.Have you ever come across such situation let me know friends share it with me Thank you

Yes it did happen to me once .. but actually I was just re-heating a boiled egg. Trying to boil egg in the microwave is totaly wrong, because the liquid inside the egg will expand from the heat and, since the shell is sealed, it will explode.
Sometimes the old fashioned way is the best:)
It must have been awful cleaning this mess .. cleaing my mess only took 1/2 an hour.
