What is the strangest or nicest (most elaborate) dish you have prepared?

I love to cook. I think I own over a hundred different cookbooks. And I use them as a guide more or less. I have never cooked professionally but have done a lot for chairty golf tournaments and my church. And some foods will strange to one person but then not to others. So in your own opinion what is the strangest food you have ever prepared? Did you like it? Why did you make it? Or if you have created a masterpiece, what was it and why did you make it.

I have made some pretty terrible things in my kitchen...most of them were experimental sugar free cookies that just didn't turn out very good!
I used to cater and made all kinds of things I probably wouldn't make at home. One thing I refused to help the guy I work with make was a roasted pig...i nearly threw up looking at that!

I also have made some pretty terrible things while experimenting. I make wonderful orange marmalade. so I got this great idea that I could make lime marmalade. Oh MY.. it was so awful. I thought just add extra sugar or something, but could not get the bitter sour taste to even calm down. Now I have roasted a pig, but it was cleaned when I got it so it was not to bad. Do you gut fish?
