What do you do when you can't sleep at night?

see first of all i hardly sleep at night and then iam sleeping till the evening. at night i simply watch tv, surf the net, read newspaper, read books, study, listen music, eat food. i do watever a normal human does in daytime.. lolz...

When you can sleep at night, I have advice for you. Just lay still and think about your big toe. Why? The reason is you focus on one object that is very uninteresting. The more you think about it, the more you will be use to it. You focus on one thing for so long, your brain will just shut that off and there when you brain shuts off that image of your big toe, you fall asleep.

First I try to sleep again
If I can't I try again if I can't I try again..
If I still can't. I get up and do a chore I don't like to do..
If I still can't I try to read a boring book...
If I am still not tired... I give up.. trying to sleep, and I meditate for an hour or two... Then if I still can't sleep. I log online and chat in the chatroom for about 30 minutes... If I still can't sleep then I read all those boring internet petitions, and get caught up.. if I still can't sleep then I read my emails, and chat, and just give up on sleeping but trying to keep my body as relaxed as I can.... So when daytime comes I'll still be able to function for most of the day then instead take a small 1-2 hr nap if needed, Then continue my day, and hopefully then I'll sleep the next night. (Same goes for in the daytime... if I am not on Nightwatch. I am usually awake more then the average person in day and night hours.).. If I can not sleep in bed I try the floor, or the couch, or my office chair. Try with light on light off music on music off .. I do not sleep with TV that makes me have very um strange dreams lol...
