I know ..I know that your first reaction will be ..."what is this guy talking about ????ofcourse money is not required to be happy"......but think a bit deeper ,in a more practical way...like if you wanna go to your favourite restaurant to have dinner ..u need money......to buy the car u love ....u need money.... ok ok...hold....i am not here to debate on that but ,...just to give a clear understanding that ...money too(i said 'too' not 'only') is important.. So we cant neglect it but neither should we overthink it.......

hhaha, i think that money can make everyone happy, that's why there are a lot of users here in this world... some i might say are your friends, the ones that keeps on asking stuff from you even if you don't have money... those are the people whom you call friends aren't really your friends, but they are users... it's really hard to find real friends here in this world....

Yes it is. But not entirely. There are a lot of variables attached to it. Man, Social Animal, need to interact with some of his counterparts in the society, He has to interact with the environment, get in contact with many people. Although we could say that money os not exactly required, but as you said thinking about it in deeper prospect, Money is very important. I ain't living in a forest. I need a vehicle to get around here and there. My heart craves for a car. I love electronics and as you would know, almost all the electronics are very costly and buying them would be a hell of a job without money. I also love to have many other things like a lavish house, big enough for me, enough food and enough clothes to be comfortable. Nobody neglects money as an important part of life. we all consider money to be important too. Its just those business tycoons who are so obsessed with money, that they assume that money is all that they need to have or being happy. bourne

shummi you are most correct. I work entirely just to pay my bills, keep a roof over my head, and food on the table. I never have had a lot in my lifetime but, I am still a very happy person.

Money is not a must to be happy. What for me to be happy is this 1.dignity - if I do some useful stuff and people are appreciative or not does not matter; but I believe that what I am doing is very true to my personal worth or calling in live I can be happy 2.fruitful relationship with my creator, friends and family 3.food and clothing and decent housing for my family and those I am responsible for. But then can it be gotten without money, that is the big iffff. If there is a system where that can be had , and found to be acceptable to those people that counts in my life then I would still be happy without money. Those people that counts in my life would hopefully know how to keep the 3 points intact and not forget the little cookies or delicacies that I might enjoy if I have money to buy on my own!

I do not have to have millions but yes I need to have money to be happy. Being poor and struggling to survive would not make me the least bit happy. I think anyone who says they do not need money to be happy is lying to themselves.

Of course money is an absolute necessity in order to weave out a decent living. You are happy only when your needs are met in full. In order to get wishes fulfilled you need money and money is the alternative to meet those requirements.

I agree with you.. Money is very important if you want to be happy.. Just a family is not enough.. Relations, family, love, god, etc.. cannot buy you food or make you live.. So who is the one who says money is not necessary?? Obviously, its the gy who has a lot of money!! Its always the rich... They are so filled with money that they have forgotten its importance.. They don't know its value..

I've been to many countries in the world where their houses are made of mud and they have really no hope of ever going out to eat in a restaurant ever. Do you know what they do? They rely on relationships for their happiness and they enjoy their days. They avoid being too busy and trying to do too much in life. And get this: I would say they are happier in general than Americans with all of our restaurants, resumes, colleges, vacations, and bulging wallets. It surprised me too.

This threat is so meaningful. It is a good topic to discuss but hard to get one for all answer. People never know how hard it is to live with less money. People never know how they feel when the whole family never have time together. To me everything is depended on the characteristic of each people. I tend to agree with the idea that money can bring happiness. Money can help you to get high education which is the main key for happiness. education can bring happiness.

Money is needed to make just about anyone happy but that amount of money varies from person to person. If I didn't have money I would not be able to afford healthcare, a home and provide food, clothing and medicine for my baby. If I did not have these things or be able to provide them for my child quality of life would not be very good and therefore I would be miserable. I sometimes forget the little luxeries in life like my husband taking me out to dinner or being able to drive somewhere because I have a car but I still complain about gas prices. What if I didn't have a car to fill up. I don't need to be a millionaire to be happy but being comfortable sure is nice. I have been on both sides of having quite a bit of money to having very little and I have to say having money is just easier.

money doesnt buy happiness... but you need money to buy the thing that makes you happy.. hehehe.. unfortunately. i kind of go back and forth on it. i mean, in the state of being practical, people do need money. or would it be because people are growing more materialistic that they have to have money to buy the things that makes them happy? but isnt it the little things in life that makes people happy? your kids 1st smile, their 1st steps etc. i once said in matters of money since i was in need of it at that time [hahaha] that 'money makes the world go round' and yes i do know that it is 'love' that makes the world go round. but with everything that is going on in the world today it sometimes feels that way. then again, im probably wrong.

its not a must but it sure helps. there are poeple out there who are broke as hell, but are the happiest people u'll ever meet. it depends on wht u need to be happy, if its alot of things then ya, but if not, then it really dosent make a differences. money comes and gose so it shouldnt matter if money makes u happy.

Everyone needs a certain amount of money to overcome the difficulties that life throws at them. I would say yes, but it isn't the be-all-end-all of happiness. I certainly do think it is necessary though.

money is also a part of our everyday living. if we don't have money, we can't eat and buy some necessities that we needed. others do anything just to have money in order to feed and give something about their children
