Are you afraid of dying, this might not be a discussion that a young person can relate to, but as people age the research says that older people are more prepared to die
I am middled aged and I know that I am still nervous about dying,
are you afraid to die why or why not

I'm not afraid of dying. I think in some cases, it is the best gift of life sometimes. We get peace when we pass on. I am afraid of my husband and my daughter dying before me though. I would feel so alone in this cold world. I am not ready to die yet though because I am not done in life yet.

I know what you mean. I would hate to lose my daughter also. That would hurt very bad in my heart. She is my flesh and blood and my only child. I would need her in my life so badly, especially if my husband passes on before me.

Nope never been afraid to die as it is enivitable sooner or later all do . I figure when I do my time is up here and I will then get to go on and be with tthe loved ones that have passed.
It really is the kids that want to hold on to you that will hurt them when ya pass but they to know that thatttime comes to every one . and I am even having my daughter the power of attorny to not keep me alive on machins I wouldnt want to live that way and no use to be a burden on them having a machine breath for me

No I am not afraid for myself of dying but I don't like the thought of not being able to be here for my children and being an older mother I tend to worry over who will care for my little one if anything happened to me, my girls are almost adult but he is still so young. Hopefully though I will live to a ripe of age and his care won't be an issue. Ellie :D

I'm 54 years old. I'm not really afraid of dying, but I'm nowhere near ready to. I had a scare about a week ago and was honestly afraid I was dying and I was really, really, really upset over the thought that my life would be cut short. I want to live life and live it fully. I value each and every day of it -- good or bad.

To be honest, yes, I'm afraid to die. When I'm crossing the street, in the car, or just walking I always pray that God will keep me safe. I definitely do not want to die that way.
When in I was in the hospital bed and had transfusion that didn't make my condition better I cried in desperation. I still didn't want to die.
I just want to live and enjoy life.

I am afraid of dying. I don't want to leave my loved ones. I want to spend as much time with them as possible. But when I do I want to go in my sleep.

No, I am not really afraid to die. Part of it is faith. The other contributing factor is that I have taken care of dying people at the nursing homes, and more close to home, I held my first husband's hand as he passed. I helped to take care of my younger sister as she was dying. It happens to us all.

I am not AFRAID of dying actually. Isn't that actually all a part of life? I have been thinking a lot about it lately as I've lost a few friends recently to cancer and heart problems that are all near my age.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

No, I am not afraid to die. I accepted the fact of dying when I was in my early 30's due to my diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis. I know now that you don't die from MS but the complications you can die from. Still don't make sense to me, but we are going to die anyways, so why fight it. I am enjoying my life now, like there is no tomorrow.

Yes I am afraid of dying. The best thing I can do is not think about it and just live life, though some days I can't help but catch myself thinking about it. After all we are all born to die. Some people just happen to die sooner than others. I just hope when it is my time to go I hope there is no pain.
