Mostly they are tea candles and pillars. I like to pour water in the crystal bowl, put in few dried rose leaves and several tea candles. In the evening it looks very nice, crystal shines all room.

try using melts/tarts with your tea lights, u'll get the scent that you would with a jar, but the price you are willing to pay for the tealights.. i buy the non-scented from the dollar tree or big lots and mia bella tarts (i also sell them) i find thati wanted to try all the scents and didn't want to wait over 100 hours for the jar to burn out, so i bought tons of melts (under 1 buck each) and they do the same thing as the jars! huge scent impact and long lasting smells throughout the house..

I like soy and beeswax candles the most. They are healthy and smell wonderful! You can find them just about everywhere these days -- so they are easy to find. :)

None. People with breathing issues avoid burning anything!

I burn candles daily, 365 days a year. I change scents according to seasons usually and prefer a jar candle for safety sake.

I don't burn anything, I use Scentsy. I bought a warmer for $25 and I have 6 bars of wax which cost me $25. The bars of wax last longer than most jar candles I've used, so in the end this was a much cheaper way for me to make my house smell good. I just break off the chunk of wax that I want to use, turn on the warmer and put the wax in. Six good jar candles will cost me about $90 in my area, this cost me $50 so definitely worth it. (Plus I don't have to worry about my daughter playing with it, it uses a 25 watt lightbulb which doesn't get hot enough to burn her.)

It's a tie between votives and jar candles. I love to have candles burning in my house. Especialy in the winter when it cold outside and you cant open the windows.

I normally burn the scented jar candles from Yankee Candle. I like more of the fruity smells than the flowery ones. On occasion I will burn votive candles for a little ambiance at dinner.
