Too much water can kill them!

Well, I was talking to a friend of mine at work one evening about how my dog will just gobble up as much water as you put in the bowl, and then end up puking it up. Apparently, if you give your dog a huge sum of water, and they drink it all at once, it can actually turn their stomach and intestines around, or something like that, and can cause them to die! I didn't know this before hand. Also, if you give your dog really cold water after they have been outside in the heat for awhile, this can always happen. Now I only give my dog a little bit of water at a time, let her drink that, and then give he more if she seems like she is still thirsty.
