Puppy huskies are just so cute!!I know where to get them but since I've never raise a pet by myself(I know that could be tough and hard), I don't know whether I can be a good owner/feeder of huskies. Can anyone here share some experience with me? Or you can just give me some pieces of advice. A million thanks!!!!!!

Huskies are the most wonderful critters ever - most biased person you know here! We had two huskies, one from a puppy and one from rescue shelter.
The puppy was a cross with a german shepherd. Now I tell you what he was gorgeous, people kept stopping us in the street asking if he was for sale, we actually thought someone would steal him. They never did. He had a fantastic temperament. You have to look out for that in their parentage.
They are VERY destructive when they are pups - they will eat shoes, doors, electric cables etc. so patience is an absolute virtue with them but once they hit 1 - 1.5 yrs you are sold for life. They are so protective of you, your family and your house. Remember they are one of the closest animals to their original roots, i.e. the wolf! He was more like the Japanese Aquita - and the Japanese used to leave them alone with their kids! So you MUST treat them with a lot of respect, even though they have demolished your house you may not feel like giving it!
The second was a real CROSS with absolutely everything. But once she got over her new environment (she was 18 months when we got her) she was very protective and sincere.
They take a lot of patience and training but if you are up to it - it is certainly worth it. I really recommend them as guard dogs and as a pet that will look after kids.
I'll give you more advice if you need it.. Good luck!

Huskies are really cute and they're silent dogs, unless some that have the habit of howling at night. Yeah, go get your own husky. But you have to take care of it and train it well. They don't need high maintenance or grooming but they need lots of exercise and training. Goodluck!

Had a mixed husky who just passed away this year feb 14th 2008. Still miss her very much because she was so cute, adorable and smart. for now no more dogs. In future when my husband and I have a landed house we will definitely get two pure breed huskies one male and one female.
