Advice on housebreaking puppies... Please!! :)

I'm glad I came across your discussion on your puppy. I just recently as well got a puppy. I love her and me and my husband wanted her together. Well for advice on housebreaking your puppy, I have some for you. I haven't gotten mine completely housebroken, but I am working on it and I'm sure it will out work just fine. What you should do is allow her to use the newspaper or the housebreaking pee pads, that you can easily buy at Walmart, and telling her to "Go potty" and when she does tell her "That's a good girl." Continue to do it for a couple of days and then slowly move the pee pad closer to the door, until you finally get her outside to pee. You just have to have a little more patience. I've been working with my puppy for a little while. And I always bring her to her pee pad and tell her to "go potty" and she does. I just can't take her outside yet, because she still needs a few more shots. Just try it out, you really have nothing to lose.
