I've never really watched tennis, but maybe a few times because someone else in the house was watching it. Other than that I much rather play it myself. I enjoy hitting the tennis ball back and forth. I get a pretty good work out running all over the place trying to get the ball back across the net. I don't really see much out of watching it, I guess it's because I'm more of an active person.

tennis is a great sport. its good when you watch it and even better when you play it. my dad loves tennis and has brought me and 2 other of my siblings up in playing the sport. we eventually stopped when we entered highschool since there would be no more time in playing it since we were preoccupied with other activities in school. choosing between watching and playing the game, playing the game is a no brainer choice for me. not only does it give you a great workout it lets you go out there and interact with other people who enjoys tennis as much as you do. it beats sitting on the couch and just watch it on the tube watching the players hit the ball back and forth, and most of the time you cant see the ball being passed on to the other player unless its a close up. when it comes to sports one must take a hands-on attitude towards it

Hmmmmm, I love both? Can that be an answer.
I am sitting at my laptop here tired because I just played three grueling hours of tennis under the heat of a 73degree F sun on a bright midday (well, just a few hours ago). And I must say, after not playing tennis for over a month (because I transferred from the Philippines here in the United States), I missed the game so much. I was rusty though, loosing 3-6, 3-6 from my opponent. But who cares. I played tennis and it was something that I enjoyed.
I love watching tennis too. Many times when I open the computer, I would log on to youtube to find some of the best matches that I've missed. And yes, just to confess, there were even times during my school days, when I would skip classes to sneak in our Audio Visual room to watch live tennis matches. I was never caught, happily.
Hope my answer is acceptable. I cannot choose just one, pal. Hope you understand.

I am a great fan of tennis. But i did not play tennis ever in my life. I just watch it on TV. I watch all major tournements like Australian open' French open' Wimbledon and US open. My favourite player is Roger Federer and Justin Henin. I also like Rafael Nadal and Shahar Peer.
